Dear parents,
The school reports were issued today for Semester One. This is an important time for students who can evaluate their progress, achievements and challenges half way through the year. The balance of the year during Semester Two allows students to focus on those areas that need strengthening, and develop further areas of accomplishment. As I always say at this time of the year, please sit down with your child and their report and read through it together. Celebrate where they have done well, and take note of where they may need more support and encouragement.
Next week is the Parent-Teacher conferences, please book a time with your child’s teacher if you would like to discuss your child’s progress.
The big event of the year will be held on Thursday February 20. In years past, the International Food Evening was a night where the entire ABIS community attended to purchase food from different countries and share a nice time with family and friends. We are reintroducing this special evening and invite all students and their families to participate in this special night. Information will be sent out soon.
