Dear Primary Families,
It’s hard to believe we are so close to the winter break! The next three weeks will fly by with many exciting events and activities planned across the primary section.
I’m writing this before tonight’s Potluck Supper, which I’m sure will be a delightful evening for all who are able to attend. I’m looking forward to sampling the wonderful dishes our community has prepared—though I do wish my own culinary skills were better!
Winter Concert Reminder
This week, during music classes, Mr. Mino has been working hard with the students to prepare for next week’s Winter Concert. The concert will take place in the Mazoon on Wednesday, 4th December, starting at 6:00 pm. Information has already been shared, including the expectation that all students wear black and white clothing—this could be black trousers with a white top, or white trousers with a black top, for example. Please take note of the time we would like students to arrive so that they can be in position and ready for the 6:00 pm start.
The students, along with Mr. Mino, have put in tremendous effort to make this concert a success. We hope to see a full audience on Wednesday evening to celebrate their hard work.
Art Gallery Showcase
In addition to the Winter Concert, Ms. Sanaa and Mr. Marek, our Visual Arts team, will be hosting an art gallery to showcase the incredible artwork our students have created this year. I’ve had a sneak peek at some of the pieces, and it’s clear that ABIS is home to some very talented young artists!
These events highlight the wonderful work happening across the school and reflect the amazing qualities our students demonstrate every day. They are risk-takers, inquirers, and communicators, and next week provides us with a fantastic opportunity to celebrate these achievements together.
Parent Coffee Morning
A special thank you to those who joined us for the Parent Coffee Morning this past Monday. It was lovely to connect and discuss various school-related topics as well as other interests. Your engagement and feedback are always appreciated.
