It was an amazing week in our art class, with everyone diving into different creative projects! Here’s a recap of what we accomplished:
1. **KG1**: Began to know names of colors, started to discover it by making printing with stencil for dinosaurs.
2. **KG2**: Practiced coloring and shapes ( square, rectangle, circle, triangle), enhancing their hand skills by using pencils colors.
3. **Grade 1**: Learned how to draw figures by using basic shapes, building a strong foundation for their drawing skills and they started to express themselves by drawing their own family.
4. **Grade 2**: Created their own patterns using colors, adding a personal touch to their self portrait.
5. **Grade 3**: Learned how to draw figures by using basic shapes, building a strong foundation for their drawing skills.
6. **Grade 4**: Began using various shading techniques to create 3D shapes, gaining a deeper understanding of form and dimension ( summative assessment).
7. **Grade 5**: Explored textures by shading with graphite pencils, creating a still life of Omani antiques with stunning detail ( summative assessment).
It was an incredible week of learning and creativity! Can’t wait to see what we accomplish next week—keep up the great work!
