Dear ABIS Parents,
This week, middle school students started their invasion games unit. What is an invasion game? An invasion game in PE is a team sport that aims to invade the opponent’s territory to score points, typically by getting a ball into a goal or designated area. These games involve offensive and defensive strategies, with teams working to maintain possession, move the ball, and stop the opposing team from scoring.
In MYP Physical and Health Education (PHE), when assessing invasion games, the focus is on a range of skills, strategies, and personal and social behaviours that reflect the MYP objectives.
