This week students practice what they have learned in Trigonometry We used interactive tools to visualize right-angled triangles and discover how these functions relate to real-world problems like calculating distances and angles. We worked on some past paper questions to ensure students got familiar with the IB terminology. I was impressed with some of the students’ creative approaches to solving trigonometric equations! Their step-by-step explanations helped clarify the topic for the whole class.
Looking Ahead: Next week, we will start our journey in Calculus, focusing on applications in architecture and engineering. Students will also begin working on mini-investigations to make the connections between previously learned topics and the Calculus.
