Dear Secondary Families
It was wonderful to see so many of our Primary and Secondary Parents at the monthly coffee morning this week. We had our highest number in attendance! We now look forward to building upon this and welcome even more to our next coffee morning scheduled for Tuesday 22nd October. It is always a great way to talk to other parents and ask Matthew and myself questions as Team Leaders.
As part of our Transition Programme for students moving from PYP to MYP, we are excited to invite our Grade 7 Parents to a ‘Support Workshop’ on Wednesday 2nd October at 5.00 pm. Ms Zuweina will be available to offer Arabic translation and the meeting will be online using this Google Meet link.
In the session we will be providing further support and guidance to support parents with their child’s transition. We will be looking at;

Principles of the MYP Curriculum and expectations.

Formative and Summative Assessments.

Google Classroom and ManageBac.

Parental support at home.

Questions and Answers.
Although this Workshop is aimed at Grade 7, parents from any other grades are more than welcome to attend if you feel that the content will be useful.
