Dear Parents,
I wanted to share some exciting updates about our Adventure Challenges unit and Swim and Survive lessons, where your children are actively developing problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork.
Adventure Challenges Unit:
This week, each grade level is participating in a team-building activity where groups are challenged to construct a tower using limited materials. Every student is encouraged to contribute their ideas, and together, they collaborate to bring those ideas to life. If an idea doesn’t work, the team reassesses and tries new approaches. This process nurtures key skills such as teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, all while working towards a common goal. It’s been amazing to see the students engage and grow as they brainstorm strategies and test their ideas.
Swimming Progress:
In our swimming lessons, students in Grades 1-2 are focusing on basic water confidence and coordination. They are learning to float on both their backs and fronts, as well as practicing kicking techniques while holding onto the pool edge or a kickboard. These foundational skills are crucial for building water safety and comfort.
Thank you for your continued support!
