Dear Parents,
This week, we began conducting formative assessments to gauge our students’ progress on their ongoing projects. These assessments are designed to offer valuable feedback and ensure that students are on track to meet their goals. Additionally, I’m pleased to report that our students have made significant strides in their ability to utilize technology effectively within the music classroom.
In our DP lessons, we have embarked on one of the external assessments, a crucial component of the DP music course. To prepare for this assessment, students are diligently practicing for their first recording of the year.
In addition to these updates, I would like to share that our 7th-grade students are currently exploring the fascinating world of music for video games. Our 8th-grade students are delving into the rich history and structure of Blues music. Lastly, our 9th-grade students are focusing on the dynamic genres of Rock and Pop.
