We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with friends and family! Just a quick reminder to please send a hat with your child to school. We know hats can sometimes get left behind at home or in the car, so it might be a good idea to leave a hat at school. Please make sure to label it clearly, especially if it’s a school hat.

This week, we explored the concept of “before” and “after” using numbers and our daily routine. We focused on the numbers around 3, discussing what comes before and after it. We also applied this concept to our day by asking, “What do we do before lunch? And what do we do after lunch?” You can continue this learning at home using your child’s home language to reinforce the concept further.

In phonics, we introduced the “a” sound, our first vowel. Learning this sound is crucial as it helps set the foundation for blending sounds into words. Next week, we’ll be excited to blend our first words together when we introduce the “t” sound.

We’re looking forward to another fun week of learning ahead!
