It was a fantastic week filled with creativity and wonderful ideas in our art class! Here’s a glimpse of what each grade explored:
1. **KG1 & 2**: Began learning the difference between dark and light, and created beautiful flower prints using their hands and paint.
2. **Grade 1**: Discovered primary and secondary colors and began applying this knowledge by coloring a portrait according to specific coloring rules.
3. **Grade 2**: Started exploring the first element of art—lines. They learned about different types of lines and used them to draw unique landscapes.
4. **Grade 3**: Ventured into the world of printmaking, discovering new techniques and creative ways to make prints.
5. **Grade 4**: Focused on drawing circles using various hatching techniques to understand shading and texture.
6. **Grade 5**: Got introduced to the famous artist Piet Mondrian and began creating artworks inspired by his iconic style.
7. **Grade 6**: Studied different textures and practiced replicating them using pencil techniques.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and creativity in each class! I hope you all enjoyed the week as much as I did. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week for more exciting art adventures!
