Dear ABIS Families,

I’d like to provide a quick update on the first week of swimming classes and the start of our new Adventure Challenges Unit. It was wonderful to see the students’ excitement as they got into the pool! During this first week, we reminded all classes about the importance of following pool rules and carefully listening to their teachers. These expectations are key to ensuring that every student has a safe and enjoyable experience in the water.

In addition, we’ve just kicked off our Adventure Challenges Unit, which is designed to develop teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. Throughout this unit, students will participate in both physical and mental challenges that foster collaboration, leadership, and perseverance. The learning objectives for this unit include:

  • Improving communication and cooperation skills.
  • Building self-confidence through engaging physical challenges.
  • Developing strategies to overcome obstacles and solve problems as a team.

We’re really looking forward to watching the students grow and thrive in both the swimming program and the Adventure Challenges Unit.

Thank you for your continued support!
