On Tuesday, May 21st, school counselors Ms. Maitha Al Shibli and Ms. Sharouq Al Sharqi conducted a workshop titled “The Power of Conversations Parents-Children” for parents, in Arabic. The workshop focused on the mental, emotional, and psychological impacts of conversations between parents and children, as well as effective ways to conduct these conversations.
The session was rich with knowledge and featured active participation from parents who shared their experiences and engaged in fruitful discussions. The workshop concluded with a small exhibition showcasing examples of conversations that enhance certain qualities in children, such as citizenship, self-management, empathy, ethics, patience, sportsmanship, and many more.
Additionally, the exhibition displayed various tools used to encourage students to express themselves and communicate effectively.
We hope that this workshop has inspired parents and contributed to fostering positive and productive relationships with their children.
