Dear Parents,
Today, we enjoyed a wonderful Grade 3-6 assembly, where students showcased their learning in various impressive ways. Congratulations to all the students and their teachers for making this a special occasion. Additionally, we awarded certificates to primary students who earned gold passports for reading 50-60 books in Arabic. Well done to these dedicated readers!
The Grade 11 students completed their final mock examinations today. I’m sure they are relieved to have finished this intensive assessment process. Thank you to their teachers for meticulously organizing each exam based on the students’ learning.
With just three weeks remaining before the end of school and the start of the summer break, we will focus on wrapping up our units of learning, finishing tasks and assessments, and preparing final school reports.
Admissions are currently open, and I encourage our ABIS community to invite friends and family to visit us. Today’s Open Day was a success, with several new parents visiting and registering their children.
From next week the swimming will stop as it is now too hot to be coaching and lifeguarding the students from the side of the pools. We hope that all students have enjoyed the swimming lessons since the pools reopened.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Dominic Robeau
