Dear parents,

Once again the poor weather has caused ABIS to go online. While this is an inconvenience for all, it is hoped that the tasks provided by your child’s teachers will ensure they keep up to date on their studies. Should you have difficulty in accessing the internet, please contact your child’s teachers on return next week to let them know so that they can assist your child.

Today marks the launch of the ABIS Student Referral Program, inviting current ABIS parents to refer non-ABIS families to our school. Our aim is to showcase to newcomers why ABIS stands out as the best educational destination in Sohar. By participating in this program, you can contribute to introducing prospective families to the exceptional educational journey we offer. Your support is invaluable in spreading the word about ABIS and the nurturing environment we provide for student development. We encourage you to share your positive experiences and extend invitations to new families to explore ABIS. For further information on the program or to make a referral, please complete the form (abisoman.com/student-referral) or contact Ms Zuweina : z.alabdulsalam@abisoman.com

We have sent a form out to all parents to fill-in to let us know whether your child will be returning next year. This is important to us as we begin our planning for next year. If you have not already done so, please fill-in the form here. This week we saw a very successful swimming competition held at TAISM in Muscat. The boys team won every race against 6 different Muscat schools and the girls finished 2nd out of 3 schools. Thank you to Mr Fernando and Ms Dorothy for taking the teams, this was an incredible result for our students.

Please stay safe during this poor weather and I wish you all a good weekend.

Dominic Robeau
