We started the week by celebrating Ms. Khadija’s very special birthday. Thank you so much to the students who gave her some lovely cards and gifts. It made her day really special, and it was a chance for us to thank her for all that she does for us.
Students wrote, rehearsed and performed some rhyming couplets all about our recent trip to Muscat! They worked really well in groups and accomplished the task in record time. We hope you enjoy the videos. Link to videos HERE
This week in maths students completed their inquiry into perimeter and area, while some others looked at the properties of circles, including using pi to work out the circumference. In language we continued our exploration into poetry by creating rhyming word banks and creating more poetry. In our unit of inquiry students came up with a collective definition of what a biome is for their websites, and started researching into the features of the ecosystem that their chosen animal lives in.
We wish you all a very relaxing weekend. Best wishes, Miss Rachel & Ms. Khadija
