Hey All,
Hope everyone had a lovely break. We are back on track, well almost! Yet another ‘showers Vs sunshine’ week added the need for unexpected twists to our plans.
Highlights:
- Oman Week 2.0 – Assembly and camels in school cheered the students up and made a nice ‘welcome back’ after the term break.
- Math – Students are catching up with applying the divisibility rules for 2, 3, 5, 9 & 10 as they took up a formative task making up their own example of a number that satisfies the given divisibility factors. Some students also had the opportunity to solve problems related to finding common factors and multiples.
- Language – Our young writers completed their plot mountain plan for the narrative they will develop based on a picture prompt. A chat with your kids about this might take you to the ocean, shipwrecks, pirates, secluded island, missing crew, lost boy and many more!
