Welcome Aboard
This week we were honored to have Captain Ahmed Hamby visit our class to teach us about chart navigation, seamanship lingo, and a few important knots to know on board a ship. The kids were at full attention and enjoyed all he shared. As his time came to a close, we coerced him to our ECC playground for a picture. Thanks for taking the time to visit us and share your wealth of knowledge.
Highlights of the Week
- We are beginning our research into various explorers of the New World
- We took another fast fact math assessment test and graphed our progress while also reflecting on our action plans and progress. Please refer to Seesaw if interested in your student’s progress
- Some of us are involved in a book club and reading, “A Long QWalk to Water”
- We revisited our science experiment and made more observations
