It was great to see so many of you at our learning celebration. Thank you so much for supporting your children’s learning and we hope you enjoyed hearing all about the process involved in the creation of the Rube Goldberg machines.
This week saw a lot of reading and research as students chose their groups and their topics to explore Space. We have an interesting and diverse range of topics and moving forward we will be focused on revisiting our research skills, including: finding good sources of information; note taking; and paraphrasing.
In maths this week we explored new multiplication strategies, place value arrays and area models. In reading we explored some of the different online resources available to us, and in writing we focused on note taking and keeping track of sources.
