Dear parents,

The week concluded on a positive note because in the past two weeks we had observed litter on the ABIS grounds after lunch. Consequently, students are now required to finish their meals before engaging in outdoor activities, leading to a significant reduction in litter—a pleasing outcome. Further, to educate our students on the importance of disposing of their rubbish responsibly and to promote sustainability, we plan to install recycling triple bins throughout the school. We are seeking sponsorship from parents’ companies to support this initiative with the purchase of the bins. If your company or organization is interested in participating, please reach out to me directly.

This week featured primary and secondary coffee mornings. Both primary and secondary sections are set to reintroduce workshops in the coming months, coinciding with the coffee mornings. These workshops will provide an opportunity for parents to socialize and engage in specialised subjects of interest. Stay tuned for more details.

On Thursday of the upcoming week, primary will host an assembly for grades 3-6, and parents are warmly invited to attend. A reminder Newsflash will be sent out closer to the date.

School photographs are scheduled for the first week of February, taking place on Monday, February 5, and Tuesday, February 6.

In the following week, we will be sharing details about the trialing of a new food catering initiative for student lunches. The trial will be launched after a two-week sign-up period, and additional information will be sent out on Monday.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
