Dear Secondary Families,
I hope that you all had a lovely winter holiday. Hearing about the variety of experiences students had both in Oman and around the world is just one of the wonderful things about working in an International School. Students have quickly settled back into their learning and have been writing personal reflections ready for their Semester 1 report at the end of this month.
We are very pleased that repairs to the swimming pool are now completed. The majority of our Secondary Students will be starting swimming in their PHE lessons from next week. Their teachers have been talking to them about the details and expectations.
The next round of ASAs will begin next week. We hope that students have been able to sign up for at least one activity.
We are very much looking forward to Oman Week in a few weeks time, with final preparations being made. For those students attending residential camps, we are providing an information evening next week. Please check your email for further details. Grade 9 students will now be attending 3 different day trips. Final details of these trips will be shared next week.
We will have our next Parent Coffee Morning next week on Tuesday 16th from 8.00 – 9.30. I look forward to meeting with you.
I wish everybody a lovely extended weekend, and look forward to seeing the students back in school on Sunday morning.
Andy Cooper
