Dear KG 2 families,

We are thrilled to share some delightful moments from the week that your young learners have experienced.

Academically  we’ve been focusing on essential concepts such as Bigger Than, Smaller Than, and Equal. This foundational knowledge is helping our children understand numbers better, fostering the ability to compare and match numbers with their meanings. It’s truly wonderful to see their cognitive skills in action.

Literacy has been a journey of exploration as we delved into the letters “C” and “K”. Through engaging songs, the children learned not only the shapes of these letters but also the correct way to write them. Additionally, we introduced a new Sight Word, “My,” adding to their growing vocabulary.

Our literary adventures continued with discussions on fiction and nonfiction books. We are dedicated to deepening the children’s understanding of these two concepts, allowing them to appreciate the nuances that distinguish one from the other.

In our unit this week, we explored the theme of friendship, emphasizing the qualities that make a person a wonderful friend. We also touched upon the values of sharing, highlighting how it involves genuine concern and care for others.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce a Learning Celebration next Tuesday in the ECC building. We warmly invite you to join us and partake in celebrating your child’s learning journey. Your presence would mean a lot to both us and your child.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with joy and relaxation.

Warm regards,

Ms.AlJabri & Ms.Maryam
