As part of the Year Five assessments, the grade 10s will be completing the E.Portfolio. This culminating project of their MYP learning is an opportunity for the students to share what they have learned over the past five years. Each year, the IB sends out a new unit plan, challenging not only the students but the teachers as well. This year the students are asked to consider the interconnectivity of the Arts with people through space and time. Possible areas of exploration are looking at how National Anthems continue to inspire and unite citizen across generations or how artistic traditions can bring comfort to others. Or how some specific and unique pieces of Art continue to inspire and awe people year after year, century after century. The Arts, at their core, are about story telling and communicating narratives to others. What is your favorite piece of Art?
