It’s wonderful to share the latest highlights of our young learners’ experiences at school. This week was particularly special as we celebrated “Kindness Day.” The children engaged in a heartwarming story about kindness, inspiring them to create beautifully designed cards adorned with vibrant colors. These cards, accompanied by a sweet treat, were then gifted to their classmates, creating a truly beautiful and memorable moment.
In our ongoing unit, “Who We Are,” we delved into the fascinating world of internal organs within the human body. The children gained valuable insights into the significance of each organ and its role in maintaining our health.
Our language activities involved the continued recitation of the November poem, a daily practice that enhances the children’s language skills. Additionally, they enthusiastically embraced the letter (G), mastering its name, sound, and proper writing. In mathematics, our focus remained on counting skills, encompassing forward and backward counting up to 20. Notably, we concentrated on the concept of “Heavy and Light,” introducing the idea that scales are tools for measuring weight, each with distinct heaviness.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead.
