The Grade 12 Global Politics class has come back from the summer holiday with renewed motivation and commitment to starting the year on a positive note.  Students are currently revising notes and resources related to the Human Rights unit and will sit for Paper 1 and Paper 2-style assessments in two weeks time (exact dates will be communicated through Managebac in the near future).  Students are also busy writing the first draft of their Political Engagement Activity reports.  This is the Internal Assessment component that allows for experiential learning focused on a specific political issue of their choice.  The draft will be submitted at the end of September and students will receive comprehensive feedback at that time.  Lastly, HL students are in the final stages of preparing for the first of two HL oral presentations which are video-taped in one take and internally assessed.  These will be filmed during class time on Monday, 18 September.  These are clearly busy times for DP Global Politics students.  Your ongoing encouragement in supporting your child’s success is more appreciated than ever!
