Tomorrow morning, our school will gather to bid farewell to departing staff and students. It is a special occasion as we say goodbye to some teachers who are returning home or embarking on new adventures in different countries. The staff leaving include Greg and Wendy Perry, Oscar Dass, Ancilla Willson, Jaymz McKind, and Maeve Doherty, our Primary Team Leader. Maeve has dedicated three years of service to ABIS, and we are grateful for her commitment. We extend our best wishes to all the departing staff members, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the school and their dedication to our students’ success.
To the students who will be leaving ABIS this year, as you embark on new journeys in different countries, cities, and schools, we sincerely hope that you carry with you fond memories of your time here. Remember the ABIS learning pact: Challenge Yourself, Involve Yourself, Be Your Best. We wish you the best of luck in your new school, and may you thrive in all your future endeavours.
While bidding farewell, we also have the pleasure of welcoming new teachers who will be joining us in August. We are delighted to have recruited talented and experienced IB teachers who will enhance our educational community at ABIS. Let us extend a warm welcome to Stephanie Batley, Sylvia Arresola, Yvette Crowley, Duncan Makori, and Ferdi Atesin. They are looking forward to joining us in Oman! When you meet them next year, please ensure they feel welcomed into our community.
