Dear all,
Another week has come to a close and I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with the Grade 4 students this year. I was absent earlier this week as I had very important meetings in Muscat with the US Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and I can truly say I missed seeing our students. You all have truly raised some wonderful children and it has been my sincere pleasure teaching them and getting to know each of them individually. They all have so much potential and we really have become a close knit class.
We are quickly approaching the end of the academic year. Therefore, next week I plan to begin our Reading and Math Basic Skills Assessments. Please ensure your student comes to school well rested and ready to do their best work. Students will need to show their best work and show how much they have learned and grown this year.
We have an Assembly today for those who can make it please come out and join the fun. This assembly will be led by the Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers Mrs. Amal and Mrs. Nabawia. The students are very excited to showcase everything they have been doing in class.
Don’t forget homework is due on Sunday so students should make sure to finish this weekend. Please have them read using Raz-Kids and take the comprehension tests. Also, make sure they are using Nessy at home to help improving their spelling and vocabulary in English. As of today we still have 6 students who still haven’t passed our Timed Multiplication Test so please have them practice their Multiplication Facts using the flash cards I gave them at home. Congratulations to Mohammed Al Ajmi for passing our Timed Multiplication Test last week!!!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!
