Our grade 11s continue to explore human physiology with emphasis on the circulatory system this week. It was a very engaging experience for the students as they found the unit very interesting. Students have a firm grasp of the parts of the mammalian heart and can confidently label the entire heart. Blood circulation was also discussed and students had the opportunity to share ideas about the circulatory system. The unit will continue next week when we will be looking at some of diseases and disorders of the circulatory system.
