In DP year 1, we have just started our third literary text. We have begun examining the poetry of Pablo Neruda. Between his love sonnets and charged political commentary, Neruda spoke through his poetry in beautiful images that examined the human experience. We will be focusing on his poetry from the collection The Heights of Macchu Picchu. We have already had an excellent week of class discussion and exploration and are looking forward to more.
