This week students have been working hard to complete individual and group projects related to our Space research. There has been much excitement and group work to ensure that everyone is ready to share their learning at next week’s Student Led Conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday! If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so HERE!
Students have also been engaged in end of unit assessments and their reflections of these will also be ready to share with you as well as their personal targets for Term 3. We look forward to welcoming you into our Grade 5 Learning Space.
We are also excited that our first ABIS musical in a long time will take place on Monday 13th March at 4.30pm in Mazoon. ‘One Planet Future’, featuring students from grades 3 through 6, is a heartwarming story of recycling, sustainability and teamwork. Please come along and support everyone who has worked so hard to produce, create and perform this musical and we’ll see you there!
We are also planning a field trip to Wadi Hibi as part of our new unit of inquiry Sharing the Planet. We will be exploring the area to learn about the interconnectedness of components in an ecosystem. Parents are welcome to join us and we will be sharing a location pin with you nearer the time. Parents will need to use their own transportation. Please ensure that you sign and return the permission slip as soon as possible.
Have a great weekend!
