“New experiences can lead to new perspectives” is the inquiry statement for our Grade 7 PHE unit.
Students will try out sports activities not commonly played in this region, such as field hockey, tag rugby, and baseball. In addition, students will inquire into various aspects of these games, such as the history, rules, and other interesting facts. Finally, students will develop their understanding of how sports can connect them to a global community. They would also discuss the possibility of introducing these sports activities in their localities and reflect on the likelihood that people will take up these sports instead of football.
