Thank you all for returning the permission slips to allow your child to join our trip to Muscat for Oman week! Everyone is very excited about the upcoming trip and there will be so much learning that will take place related to our Units of Inquiry!
This week we have taken a deeper delve into Space as we examined our Central Idea and Lines of Inquiry, working in groups to understand the meanings and present our own ideas. We have spent a lot of time examining what makes a good inquiry question and working to develop our own thesis statements, which will be a fundamental component in writing our opinion pieces about our chosen area of Space further on in the unit.
We have been researching into: the history of Space, stars, planets, astronomers and much more! It’s going to be a great learning journey!
