The grade 11 and 12 chemistry students had a chance to visit the Aluminiumproduction smelter this week.
Sohar Aluminium employs electrochemical technologies that we have been studying in our class so I was very glad to give them the chance to see it happening. We could not take any pictures ourselves while in the smelter area but Sohar Aluminium took a few for us. Here they are getting ready and listening to some explanations.
