Dear parents,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful and safe winter break.
This week saw all students back at school and classes engaged in teaching and learning with many activities taking place. I visited most classes during the week and it was really pleasing to see the attention of the students to their learning.
Next week we have coffee mornings for Secondary on Monday and Primary on Wednesday, please attend to meet other parents and the team leaders and coordinators. Also next week the next round of After School Activities start, please make sure you have enrolled your child in an activity.
Tomorrow is the Nautilus Swim Meet at ABIS, please come by the school and cheer the swimmers!
Next Thursday, January 19, 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm, we are holding our second Community Dinner of the year. Please bring a plate of food to share with everyone. All staff will be in attendance so this is also a good time to meet them in a casual setting.
The secondary school camps are about to take place soon, with these dates from Mr Cooper: Grades 9 & 10 will depart from School at 7.50 AM on Monday 23rd January and will return to school at approximately 16.30 on Thursday 26th January. Grades 7 & 8 will depart school at 7.50 AM on Tuesday 24th January and will return at approximately 16.30 on Thursday 26th January.
