Dear KG2 Families,
This week, we continued to unpack the concept of “communication”. We have used a variety of thinking tools in order for children to acquire the meaning of this concept. They are still in the process of developing an understanding. Please, using your home language, talk to your children about this concept. We mainly focussed on how effective communication requires good listening skills as well as how we use different forms of communication to pass our ideas and messages across.
In Mathematics, we continue to reinforce students’ understanding of number sense through number games. In Literacy, we learned a new letter/sound (T, t) and continue to focus on previous letters we learned.
