Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who attended our Parent Information Meeting last night. It was great to see so many families here and to see relationships and partnerships between home and school beginning. Working together is so important for student success. As always, reach out to your child’s teachers, or me, if you have any questions about learning throughout the year.
The students are settling into their routines and digging into their learning. They are happy to be back at school and enjoying their new learning spaces. We are still staying indoors for lunch times but hopefully the cooler weather is on its way and we’ll be able to play outside again soon.
Swimming starts next week. You will have received information from your child’s classroom teachers about swimming days. Remember to send your child ready to participate with a bag for: appropriate swimwear, goggles, towel and a swim cap. The children are really looking forward to starting their swim lessons!
Please plan to attend our first Primary Coffee Morning, next Thursday, September 15 from 8-9:30am. This is an informal opportunity to get together with other parents socially and with me. We will gather in the LC3 Atrium. I look forward to seeing you then. Maeve
