It was great to see so many parents at our Parent Information Evening and such a great opportunity to work together to support our students in achieving their Term 1 SMART targets. We hope you all enjoyed your letters and will use them to remind your children of what they said they would be doing for homework to reach their targets.

It was a busy week as students took ownership and control of the Grade 5 learning space. They showed so many individual talents as they worked together to plan how they could best support and share their own learning. We had our first class visits to the school library and the first fire drill of the year!  There were letters drafted and written, reading and note taking tasks, maths skills galore, team building activities and we worked on our Grade 5 Essential Agreement to establish our roles and responsibilities to ensure a successful year of teaching and learning takes place in Grade 5.
