Several students in grade 11 have chosen to complete their Extended Essays on science topics. Here at the end of the year I have given some lab time over to helps them either plan or collect data. Here are a couple pictures of two scientists at work (on either a chemistry of biology based EE).
Although I Am giving time students should still be working on their own time. They are well aware of what needs to be done. They do not want to finish the term with critical tasks to do, especially the writing. Some will find it helpful to collect their data over the summer. I will work with those who can do that to ensure they have the materials they need to get this done.
Both biology and chemistry students have just had or will have early next week taken their final written tests. We squeezed an HL topic into both classes. It has certainly kept them busy right up to the end of the year.
