Grade 4 has been learning about forms of energy, how electricity is made and the importance of using renewable energy sources. We found that “Coal, natural gas and oil was causing Mother Earth to boil”. To finish up our unit we made collages showing a landscape with many different sources of sustainable energy or energy saving features. They did a wonderful job and are now going to write a paragraph to explain their understanding.
We also painted t-shirts to wear at our assembly on Thursday, expressing our concern about the Earth’s future.
