Another busy week for Grade 5 students. The week started off with debates from the issues students explored in their persuasive essay. Teams went head to head to find out if the proposition or opposition could present the most persuasive arguments. They were so confident in putting their points across and it was so easy to see how much their speaking skills have developed this year, well done guys! In maths students continued to explore 3the properties of 3D shapes and were presented with a STEAM challenge to produce their own 3D packaging. There were also maths and reading assessments taking place, but the big focus this week was our Grade 5 assembly and it was wonderful to see so many parents back on campus to support our students as they shared their learning.
