Dear Families,
It was so great to welcome families from grades 5 and 6 today for our very first assembly since Covid! The students were excited about the opportunity to share their learning and shine on stage with their parents present. Thank you to all who were able to join us today.
Upcoming Primary assembly dates are:
- Grades 2, 3, 4: Thursday, June 2: 12:30pm
- Grades K1, K2, G1: Thursday, June 9: 12:30pm

Grade 6 parents, have you saved the date? Students from Mr. Nicholson’s class have been busily preparing for their upcoming PYP Exhibition, which takes place over 2 days: May 23 & 24. Students from different grades will visit the Exhibition during the school days, and the finale for Grade 6 families will be on Tuesday, May 24 from 5-6:30pm. You can expect to see a wonderful showcase of learning from the students as they demonstrate how they approached a real world issue related to the UN Sustainability Goals and what suggested actions they have come up with. We look forward to seeing you next week for this special occasion.
Thursday, June 2 will be our ABIS Community Dinner! You received a Newsflash providing details about this evening. It is wonderful to be able to host a social occasion for parents, families and teachers to get to know each other outside of the classroom.
Grade 5 & 6 parents: Don’t forget about our upcoming concert, where upper primary will join secondary students to share their musical talents on the evening of Monday, June 15. You have received more details about this from Mrs. Lloyd.
