There have been some wonderful costumes this week in honor of international book day and the weeklong festivities. We concluded with a reading of our top short stories. Submissions were from grades 7-11 with the top stories written by Hannah (G9), Rayan and Sara (G7), and Renee (G8).

Thank you to our judges (Ms Simonds, Mr Johnson and Mr Michael) and our grade 11s for reading the stories allowed (Hassan, Pedro, and Aldo)

The holiday ahead is a great tone for families to spend time together and rest together. We have asked most students to find some time to work on revision or any ongoing projects, but if they tell you they have nothing to do, feel free to encourage a few more chores around the house. Perhaps play some board games or card games. And be sure to get the kids involved with making the food as you celebrate this week.

We return to an 8-3 timetable and ASAs start on Sunday May 8th…

Happy holidays
