Another busy week of learning for Grade 5 students! This week our focus has been on language and maths. In language we started to look at the form and function of writing a persuasive 5 paragraph essay. We explored the structure and language used within these essays and had a go at writing our own to argue for or against the idea that students should wear school uniforms.Â
In maths we came to the end of our inquiry into perimeter and area and put our learning into action by designing our own farms in relation to our unit of inquiry which is exploring the journey our foods take to get to our tables. It was a lot of fun and some great designs were made!
