It was so wonderful to see so many of our families back on campus and I’m sure you will agree that the Grade 5 students were fantastic at taking charge of sharing their own learning with you all! We are so proud of them and you must be too! Please follow the link to the SLC photos which will also be shared by email on Sunday.
Next week we will be celebrating Oman week on campus with a variety of activities, some of which will help us to create displays for the ABIS Museum of Oman for the following week. Grade 5 students are asked to wear traditional Omani dress or dress in the Omani Flag colours of white, red and green on SUNDAY and THURSDAY.
Grade 5 students have been super busy this week as they come to the end of the Space Unit. Personal inquiries have been prepared and rehearsed, space stories have been published and there was an end of Unit movie: Astro Kid. They also did their post-assessment and reflections on the Angles unit in Maths.
Tuesday 8th March was International Women’s Day with the theme: #BreakTheBias. Students created beautiful rosette cards for the important women in their lives.
Once again it was so nice to see so many of you in person to celebrate your children’s learning.
Have a wonderful weekend!
