9&10 March – Student Led Conferences are next week at ABIS. We are excited to welcome families back onto campus in person for this event. SLCs are an important opportunity for your child to be in charge and share learning, accomplishments and goals with you. Students will lead you through some hands-on examples.
Parents of secondary students can expect to spend 15-20 minutes interacting with your child. Every child will be preparing a presentation, so we hope for 100% attendance.

Other events of note are coming up quickly:
16 March – DP Arts Exhibition @ 5:30 – Lizzy Wray will be presenting her Grade 12 Visual Arts exhibition on the theme of “isolation”. Grade 12 Music students, Kavya and Jaira, will perform selections from their Music program. Grade 11 Visual Art students will display assorted pieces.
18 March – Swimming gala hosted at ABIS. ABIS Students and Nautilus swimmers to complete with other schools in Oman. Please contact Mr. Andy Cooper or Mr. Rob Munn if your child is interested in participating.
22-24 March – Explore Oman week events in Secondary – we will be hosting some local artists and offering some find trips to appreciate the wonder and delight of living in Oman. Details and permission slips will be coming soon.
25 March – 2 April: – Term break – No School
3 April – We anticipate the beginning of Ramadan as we return from the term break. Please note that the Ramadan timetable will include an early release at 2:00 on Sunday through Wednesday. Non-fasting Grade 12 students will be expected to stay until 3, if possible.
