Dear parents,
This morning we were pleased to host Dr Khadija, the Deputy Director-General for Private Schools (MOE), and several other MOE officials for a tour of the school. Dr Khadija said that she was impressed by the quality of education being offered at ABIS, the dedication of the teachers, and the good behaviour of our students. We were pleased to have them here and hope to invite them back at a later stage.
This year during Ramadan the school day for all students will finish at 2.00 pm (apart from KG1 which finishes at 1.00 pm). We introduced this timetable successfully last year while we were online and found it to be better suited for our students who were fasting during Ramadan. The timetable will be shared with everyone soon.
The Primary school coffee mornings start next week, please RSVP with Ms Zuweina if you intend to come so we have a number to order for cake!
The times are 9.00 am – 10.00 am, and the days are as follows:
Monday: KG1 – Grade 2, Tuesday: Grade 3-4, Wednesday: Grade 5-6. I look forward to seeing you there.
