Creative Exploration of 1984 by Michael DE MARANVILLE | Feb 23, 2022 | Grade 11, Grade 11 & 12 (DP) | 0 comments Last week, we spent time consolidating our understanding of the many concepts and connections between what we have been studying and what we are learning. The grade 11 class finished up this week through a creative exploration of how this would translate into different mediums. Each student drew a different task, tasks included: rewriting fables to match the values of the society described, creating profiles of the main characters in the book, writing a short story to explain what happened to minor characters, creating webs of the interconnected aspects of the text among others. The students engaged with their tasks with focus and creative attention and the products are looking good.
