It was great to have everyone back at school after the unexpected interruption due to the cyclone. We have several items of note coming up this next week:
- Cyclone relief donations – anyone wishing to support cyclone relief may bring Lulu gift cards or cash to their advisors. We will coordinate through Jusoor to ensure families in need will receive some support during this difficult recovery time.
- Lunches are back outside – with cooler weather, students are ready to get back out and enjoy the fresh air and access the sportsfield.
- Photographer on campus – Sunday and Monday – Please be sure your child is in their school uniform for their school photos
- School’s closed Tuesday to honor the Prophet’s Birthday (PBUH)
Progress Reports will be sent home the following week on October 26, before the October break. You will then be able to sign up for 3-way conferences, being held November 15, 16 and 18.
We finished this week with a game of Family Feud, hosted by the Grade 10 students. Congrats to the G9 and G7 teams who beat out the rest of secondary!
