All Grade 11 students have now completed their first formal CAS interviews. This was the first of three formal interviews that are required for CAS completion. It was a great experience to sit down with students and help them put together a detailed CAS plan for the future. The interviews also provided an opportunity for students to ask questions, discuss CAS experience possibilities, and to reflect upon the skills that are necessary for success in the program. All Grade 11 students have now added their initial proposals to their CAS portfolios on ManageBac. Over the course of the next 18 months, students will engage in creativity, activity, and service in meaningful ways that align with specific learning outcomes. Growth and reflection will be evidenced along the way. I look forward to sharing more information related to CAS with parents and students in the near future.
