This week, the Grade 11 TOK class is on the search for Bigfoot!  Students are taking part in a mock trial experience that allows them to construct, or consider, evidence-based arguments over the existence of this elusive creature.  This task offers a valuable, and hopefully fun, opportunity to practice the types of thinking and rhetorical skills that are essential to success in this class.  Theory of Knowledge is a course that encourages us to examine how it is that we know what we claim to know.  These knowledge claims are often put to the test through the exploration of various notions such as logic, perspective, expertise, culture, evidence, fact, and truth.  As the jury deliberates, one can only wonder, will the existence of Bigfoot finally be revealed or remain a mystery for years to come?
