Lots of changes for you this year Grade 5!
We are your Grade 5 teaching team: Ms. Deb, Miss Rachel & Ms. Khadija and we cannot wait for you to come back to school and into your brand new Grade 5 learning area in LC2!
We have been busy planning your new space and lots of exciting activities to help us all get to know each other a little better.
This is Ms. Deb’s second year at ABIS. She is from England in the UK and has taught in the UK, Malawi, Australia, Thailand and Uganda. She lives in Sohar with her husband Mr Bradshaw, ABIS Physics teacher and her beautiful dog Madiba.
This is also Miss Rachel’s second year at ABIS. She is from Scotland in the UK and has taught in Scotland, Azerbaijan and Indonesia. She lives in Sohar and can often be found driving along beside the coastline as she loves being near the sea.
Ms. Khadija has been at ABIS for 13 years and is a Mum of 3 naughty (but lovely) boys. She is looking forward to working with you again after you were all together in Grade 2!
We are not sending any packs home next week as we hope to have you with us in school very soon, but we do ask that you are prepared and ready to start online learning on Sunday by making sure your iPad is fully charged, and also that you have a notebook, pencil, sharpener, glue stick, scissors and some colours with you for the fun activities we have planned to start our year together.
